Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Yarmand manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions.

He practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. Dr. Yarmand also performs a full range of dental implant procedures. Dental implant dentistry is an area of particular focus for Dr. Yarmand.

Our surgical team of nurses and dental assistants are trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) Sedation. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.

Our surgical staff is experienced and trained to respond to any possible office emergencies.  All of our staff members are certified in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and are re-certified yearly.
